Thursday Doors at the British Museum

There are some beautiful big doors at the BM. These photos are of doors on small exhibits.

When I visit the BM, I normally whiz down to the Africa exhibits. This time I looked at the Medieval section. Here are some open doors revealing the Madonna and Child. In ivory.

 Here is another more intricate carving with open doors.
